Compliance & Data Protection Officer - Bali (Remote/Hybrid)

Join OTTO Digital as a Compliance & Data Protection Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization adheres to Indonesian PDP Law and international regulatory standards. Based in the vibrant hubs of Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung), you'll help shape our data protection strategy and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA. This is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds: the dynamic energy of Bali and the flexibility to work from home.

As a Compliance & Data Protection Officer, you'll be at the heart of OTTO Digital's compliance efforts. You'll work closely with our legal, IT, and business teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to protect our customers' data. You'll also conduct regular audits and risk assessments, and provide training to our employees on data protection best practices.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with Indonesian PDP Law and international data protection regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Provide training and awareness programs to OTTO Digital employees on data protection best practices.
• Monitor and respond to data breaches or security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Collaborate with our legal, IT, and business teams to ensure that our data protection measures are integrated into our business processes.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations, and advise management on their implications.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of our compliance program, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.
• Represent OTTO Digital at industry events and conferences, and contribute to the development of best practices in the field of data protection.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, data protection, or a related field, with a focus on regulatory compliance and data privacy.
• Certifications in data protection, such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPP/A, are a plus.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian PDP Law, GDPR, and other relevant data protection regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Experience with data protection tools and software, such as Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
